The Temple...A Place of Sacrificial Worship - Pastor Jim Balzano - March 21, 2021
The tabernacle and temple were places of worship, but it was worship based upon the sacrifices of the one coming to worship. It was a place of sacrificial worship that created a pleasing aroma to God. We, believers, are the temple, and we are to be a place of sacrificial worship to our God.
The Temple...An Anointed Place
The third message in the Temple series, this message reminds us the temple was and is an anointed place. Before the tabernacle of Moses could be used as a dwelling for God, Moses was commanded to anoint it with the anointing oil to consecrate it and set it apart to God. Believers are also anointed by God for service, and that anointing comes in the form of the Holy Spirit. This message will remind you, the temple of the Holy Spirit, that you are an anointed place.

Solomon built a temple where God said He would dwell among His people. Yet, the tabernacle and temple were temporary. Today we believers are the temple of God’s Spirit. We are the place where the God of heaven meets this man on the earth. Let this message encourage you to become the temple of God that He desires.

The apostle Paul said the God of hope will fill us with hope as we live in this world. How does He do that? How is it possible for us to live in this hope that is promised?
